General
Minimums?
Our minimum is 24 pieces. Usually smaller orders are more expensive. As the quantity increases, the price per piece will go down.
Can I have the same design printed on different things?
Sure can. As long as the ink color will work well on both color garments, you can mix and match shirts, sweatshirts, crop tops, or whatever else your heart desires to meet that 24 piece minimum.
Turnaround time?
We do all of our screen printing in-house, so our turnaround time is quick. On average, you’ll have product in hand within 2-3 weeks. If you have a tighter turnaround time, don’t hesitate to reach out! We’re happy to work with you.
What sizes should I order?
Think about the group of people you’re ordering for and what the average size is among them! On average, you should order the most Mediums and Larges, then Smalls, XLs, and so on. We can always break down your order’s sizing if you aren’t sure.
What kind of shirt do I want? Do I have to buy my own shirts? Where do they come from?
No need to bring your own shirts. We order from wholesalers that carry popular brands like Bella + Canvas, Alternative, Independent, Gildan, Tultex, and more. We will suggest brands based on your budget, desired feel, and design. It’s cheaper for us to order shirts for you than to have you bring your own, but if you have something special in mind or a specific request, feel free to email orders@tonicstudios614.com or let us know when you begin an order.
Cost
How do I get a quote?
Think about how many pieces you’ll need, garment color, design color(s), and when you need your order completed! Then you can fill out this form, and we will get back to you as soon as we can with a quote.
How much does it cost?
It really depends on your project. Higher quantities of shirts will cost less per piece, and the brand of apparel you choose will also impact pricing. If you send an inquiry through our website, we will send you a detailed quote with pricing options depending on your budget! Depending on your quantity and apparel, a shirt can range from around $8-12 a piece.
Do you have setup fees?
We do not charge setup or screen fees! Our pricing is all inclusive, so whether it’s your first or fourth order from Tonic, your pricing will be consistent. We price your order based on the number of colors, print locations, and pieces in the order.
I’m on a budget. What can you do for me?
We’re always willing to work with teams on a budget. Have a number you need to stay below? Let us know, and we can work with you to find a solution that fits your needs and budget.
Art
How should I format my art?
In an ideal world: AI, PDF (with vectors embedded), EPS, sized for your design.
In a less ideal world, but still great: JPEG, PNG, PDF, PSD, or TIFF at 16”x18” (or proportionally large) at 300dpi.
If you have no idea what any of that means: send us what you got. We’ll make it work.
How big should my artwork be?
Our maximum printing area is 12.5”x15”. Ideally, the art you send should be in vector format, but if it is not, sizing it to those dimensions will make our designer’s life easier. We can work with smaller files of all formats or larger designs; don’t be afraid to send us what you have! We can usually make it work or find someone who can.
